Here’s your complete step-by-step guide to creating a Milestone Capsule using TimeLock.

Step 1: Tap the Button to Create a Time Capsule

From your TimeLock home screen, tap the capsule icon at the bottom center. This is your gateway to creating all types of capsules, including Milestone ones.

Step 2: Choose “Milestone Capsule”

You’ll now be asked what type of time capsule you want to create. Select the Milestone Capsule option, this allows your capsule to unlock repeatedly based on the frequency you define (daily, monthly, yearly, or even a custom rule).

Note: Milestone Capsules are available to Premium users.

Step 3: Choose Capsule Mode (Personal or Collaborative)

Do you want this capsule to be just for you, or would you like to invite others to contribute?

Personal: Only you can add memories.
Collaborative (Premium): Perfect for shared memory-making. For example:

A couple logging relationship milestones

Select your preferred mode and tap Next.

Now it’s time to lock in the moment. Under “Recurrence Setup”, choose:

The unlock date (e.g. every 5th September)
The unlock time (optional but great for birthday capsules)
