1. Introduction
Welcome to TimeLock (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TimeLock mobile application and website (“Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 years or older to use TimeLock. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
TimeLock is not for children under 13.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
Your login credentials
Activity occurring under your account
Keeping your information accurate
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
“User Content” includes photos, videos, audio, notes, text, and any materials you upload.
You retain full ownership of your content.
You grant us a limited licence to:
Store and display your content
Process it for the operation of the Service
We do NOT sell, share, or use your User Content for advertising.
You must ensure that your content:
Does not infringe rights
Does not break laws
Does not violate these Terms
5. Waiver of Inadmissible Content & User Responsibility
TimeLock allows users to store personal content. You are solely responsible for all content you upload or store.
You agree not to upload content that is:
Illegal or unlawful
Harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable
Infringing on third-party rights
Evidence of criminal activity or content that would be inadmissible or problematic in legal or regulatory proceedings (“Inadmissible Content”)
You acknowledge that:
TimeLock does not moderate content and does not routinely access or review what you upload.
You choose what you store; TimeLock does not request or require any specific type of content.
You remain solely responsible for any Inadmissible Content and any consequences arising from it, including legal or regulatory consequences.
TimeLock is not liable for any claim, damage, or loss arising from your uploaded content, including if such content is later accessed due to:A security incident despite reasonable safeguards
Lawful requests from courts, regulators, or competent authorities
TimeLock may cooperate with authorities where legally required and may suspend accounts suspected of misuse.
This waiver survives termination of your account.
6. Prohibited Behaviour
You must not:
Abuse or interfere with the Service
Attempt to reverse engineer the app
Use automated systems to access TimeLock
Upload malicious files or malware
7. Storage, Uptime & Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee:
Full uptime
Error-free operation
Permanent data retention
We are not liable for data loss outside our reasonable control.
8. Subscriptions & Payments
Purchases are processed by:
Apple App Store
Google Play Store
We do not store or process payment information.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled through your store settings.
Refunds must be requested via Apple or Google.
9. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, designs, and materials belonging to TimeLock remain our exclusive property.
You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any aspect of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms
You misuse the Service
We are required to do so for legal reasons
You may close your account at any time.
11. Liability Disclaimer
TimeLock is provided “as is.”
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for:
Loss of data
Indirect or consequential damages
Service interruptions
Issues caused by third-party providers
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Gibraltar courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary.
Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
