To run Time Lock, we work with a small number of specialist providers who process personal data on our behalf and under our instructions. Below we explain who they are and what they do. We’ll update this page before adding or replacing a sub-processor; where feasible, material changes are posted 15 days in advance.

Contabo provides the virtual private server (VPS) where our application runs.

Account details and operational logs generated by the app (as configured).
Where processing happens
European Union (currently Germany).
Why we use them
Reliable EU hosting for our production environment.
What they do
Hosts the public website timelockapp.com.
Data they may handle
Website visit data and any messages submitted via site forms.
Where processing happens
GoDaddy’s EU/EEA infrastructure (subject to GoDaddy’s hosting footprint).
Why we use them
Fast, managed hosting for our marketing site.
What they do
Sends and receives our transactional and support emails.
Data they may handle
Email addresses, message content, and related delivery metadata.
Where processing happens
EU/EEA or as configured for our tenant.
Why we use them
Reliable email for account and support communications.
What they do
Process payments for in-app purchases.
Data they handle
Payment and billing identifiers under their own privacy policies.
Role
Apple and Google act as independent controllers for payment data. We list them here for transparency; they are not our sub-processors.
From time to time we may engage additional providers for functions like analytics, crash reporting, or content delivery. When we do, we will update this page with the name, purpose, data handled, and region before they go live.
